We are excited to share that our co-founder, Peter Atrazhev, is a recipient of the Innovation Catalyst Grant (ICG, Innovation Catalyst Grant | Alberta.ca, ) 2024. Since the official kickoff in May (here) we’ve been hard at work. Now that we’ve had time to evaluate the impact of the ICG, it feels like the right moment to share reflect and share. The past few months have been incredibly productive, thanks in large part to the ICG’s support. T.rex AI attended and exhibited at the IEEE PES T&D Conference in April, kick-started our hardware development, and advanced in our technology readiness level (TRL).
The $250,000 grant, spread over two years, provides us with the resources to strategically grow our business, pursue further grant opportunities, and strengthen our network. Backed by the guidance of experienced mentors and the valuable resources offered by the ICG, particularly through our facilitator and the University of Alberta, we have already established new relationships and unlocked fresh opportunities. With this support, we are in a strong position to continue expanding our capabilities, make key hires, and move forward with our product development roadmap.
This grant has been instrumental in solidifying T.rex AI’s path forward, and we are excited about the momentum it has created. We’re deeply grateful for the support we’ve received and are energized by the progress yet to come.
